Illustrative operating example

Carry the buyer decision into delivery.

A B2B buyer requests a proposal. Sales knows the desired outcome, but delivery has not yet confirmed a dependency.

Fictional situation. No client relationship, completed project, measured outcome or endorsement is implied.

01

Situation

The buyer’s interest is real, but the scope and readiness are not yet a usable delivery commitment.

02

Working response

The sales owner records the decision needed, scope, exclusions and open dependency. A delivery owner checks what the team can actually accept.

03

Working outputs

A buyer decision record; a named receiving owner; an accepted handover with the dependency, next action and decision boundary.

04

How to review it

Check whether the next decision became clearer, whether delivery had to repeat discovery and whether unresolved dependencies stayed visible.

05

What this does not establish

No client, completed engagement, measured improvement or guaranteed conversion is implied. The example describes a possible working design.
